This passive infrared (PIR) motion sensor detects human sized movement and alerts a connected Prima security panel when triggered. The sensor has a detection range of 32.8 feet and ignores movement from pets or small animals weighing up to 40 pounds. The PIR Sensor is housed in an insect-safeguarded enclosure which prevents insects, draft and dust from damaging internal components, ensuring reliable performance. The sensor also sends alerts when someone is attempting to tamper with or damage the sensor.
