Honeywell 956RPT Rollerball Recessed Contact

The Honeywell 956RPT is a one piece recessed contact installed in a door or window frame.  The rollerball design assures the entry closes easily and prevents damage to the contact if the door or window is slammed.  The staggered terminal contact design means larger screw terminals and easier wiring. The staggered “T” terminals eliminate splice, solder and tape and are compatible with standard size screwdrivers.  This contact will work with all brand security panels with a “wired” zone input.

The 956RPT is a one-piece design meaning there is no external magnet. Can be used for both window and door applications.  When the rollerball is depressed (ex. door closed) the contact is Closed.  When the rollerball is out (ex. door open) the contact is Open.

Note: If the opening is very tight (ex. door with little clearance with the frame) then the 956RPT may need to be mortised slightly to ensure proper rollerball operation.
