ALARM MONITORING ACTIVATION STEPS
The next step is to complete our Monitoring Enrollment Form which enables our UL Central Station to properly verify the alarm and dispatch the appropriate authorities as necessary. We must have this e-signed form before activation can begin. Please do not forget to sign!
In most cases the Installer Code for your alarm panel may be required to complete the activation process especially if any troubleshooting is needed. If using a Honeywell panel instructions to reset your Installer Code can be found here. The default Installer Code for all major alarm panels can be found here.
One of our skilled alarm technicians will contact you after we receive your completed Monitoring Enrollment Form to finalize account activation.
Monitoring Enrollment Form
Alarm.com Activation
Please include your 15-digit IMEI address on the Enrollment Form so we can get your panel/communicator registered with Alarm.com. If not sure where to find your IMEI address use the link here for instructions (if not on the box for a new cellular communicator or panel).
Once your Alarm.com account has been created you’ll need to trigger a “cell test” to force your panel to communicate with Alarm.com to finalize your account activation. If not sure how to do a cell test check this link here for instructions. Once activated your Alarm.com app will be able to access your panel and remotely arm and disarm. Just download the Alarm.com app for your phone and try it out!
AlarmNet Activation
Please include your 12-character MAC address and 4-character CRC on the Enrollment Form so we can get your panel/communicator registered with AlarmNet. If not sure where to find your address for a wireless panel see this link here. For an external communicator (Vista panel) there will be a paper tag inside the communicator with the MAC and CRC. You will receive an email from Honeywell (Resideo) for password setup if you ordered Total Connect 2 service. Be sure to download the TC2 app and try it out after getting this email!
Alula Activation
Please include your 12-character MAC address and 4-character CRC on the Enrollment Form so we can get your communicator registered with Alula. Be sure to download the Alula app and try it out. Generally your Username will be FirstNameLastName (with no spaces) and the initial password will be Password1. Be sure to change it after first logon!
Landline / VoIP Activation
You will need to include your panel’s Zone List information (i.e. Zone 3 is Front Door, Zone 8 is Living Room Motion) since we can not pull this information via landline connection, only through an Internet or cellular communicator. If you have it written down you can just snap a picture and attach with the online form.
