While nextalarm has been talking about a service shutdown for a while many customers were shocked when they received notice that all service is being stopped as of June 30, 2020 with no alternative given other than to contact a local alarm dealer. The problem unfortunately with local dealers is their high price and long contracts, especially when they know current nextalarm customers are in a mad dash to find replacement service without a gap in monitoring protection.

Yep was a smooth switch. Chris was very helpful getting me setup.
I used Nextalarm for 5 years but forced to find another low-cost provider for monitoring my DSC powerseries panel. Got lucky with this company since they had good pricing compared to everyone else I called, friendly staff, and knowledgeable of DSC systems. The Bat-LTE was pretty simple to connect and went active as soon as I powered up the panel and adapter. I went with the central station dispatch since my insurance company required it if I wanted a 15% discount. SafeHomeCentral gave me a monitoring certificate by email (PDF) right after we tested everything. Very efficient process with these people. Highly recommend.
Was bummed NextAlarm was going under after using them 7 years but SafeHomeCentral was easy to make a change with an even better package. I was never able to remote control my older Honeywell Vista panel before but using the BAT-WIFI I now can. Sweet! It was an easy hook up just plugging in my Ethernet cable into the new adapter. Didnt use the WIFI secition since I already had a network cable ready to be reused. The app gives me good alarm control and I can tailor my notifications that will be sent when ever I arm or disarm, trip and alarm, etc.
The only real difference I noticed is I have to call their central station to put myself on Test but that is frankly infrequent so not a big deal to me. Pricing is right, tech support people are friendly and know their stuff. The fact they helped me on a Sunday is a big plus!
